Vancouver Area Man Allegedly Abducts and Kills Own Child

(Vancouver, WA) -- Police have a man arrested after he allegedly kidnapped, then killed his own child. The incident began early Sunday morning after the man picked the two-year-old child up from their home and left. Later, the child's mother told Vancouver Police the father was threatening to kill the child, but she didn't know where they were. Police did persuade the father to turn himself in, and subsequently found the child deceased. Investigators say the murder happened in just east of Portland in Gresham, Oregon.
