Truck Ends Up Vertical After Veering off Highway 204

(Umatilla County, OR) -- It wasn't quite what they expected; East Umatilla Fire & Rescue responded to what they thought might be a simple call just before 8am Tuesday morning. The caller reported a vehicle that had run off the road with someone stuck due to tree near the driver's side door. What responders found, however, was a very different. Crews arrived to witness was a truck nose down in the snow with its tail end leaned vertically up against a tree.

They ultimately extricated the lone occupant through the front windshield before transporting them to the hospital for minor injuries.
