A juvenile was robbed Monday morning while operating a small fruit stand in Pasco.

Police say the youth was selling cherries at the intersection of Court St. and 60th, when a man walked up, flashed a knife, and demanded cash.

The suspect took some money and ran to a car that was waiting nearby.

The victim says the man had been lurking nearby in the shade, wearing a dark hoodie, before approaching the stand.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-20s.

He got into the passenger side of a car that was waiting nearby, and drove away.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact Pasco Police or Crime Stoppers.
