State-wide Fire Ban

The US Forest Service wants to remind visitors of the Wenatchee National Forest Service Lands that Stage 2 Burn Restrictions are in effect until further notice due to the current weather conditions in the Northwest…this prohibits all wood, wood stove, charcoal briquette and open flame fires forest-wide including campgrounds and Wilderness areas.

Also, State Commissioner of Public Lands, Hilary Franz, stated Thursday that the same burn ban is extended to all Dept. of Natural Resources land across the state.
