(Seattle, WA) -- Seattle Police are warning residents about a group of catalytic converter thieves on the North side of the city who didn't stop after they were confronted by a homeowner, and even fired a warning shot to stay away.

According to the Department, a homeowner saw the suspects stop behind his vehicle, so he went outside to confront them and heard the sound of metal being cut. Police say the suspects not only didn't stop, but one of them actually fired a warning shot into the air. They then finished removing the catalytic converter, and left before police arrived.
