Police Searching for Two Involved in Vehicle Confrontation Near Kennewick High School

(Kennewick,WA) -- Police were called out to a weapons complaint on 6th Avenue near Kennewick High School after witnesses reported two vehicles chasing each other with shots possibly being fired. Officers arrived on scene and found one of the suspect vehicles near the 600 block of S Garfield St. They determined that vehicle was actually stolen.

Witnesses described seeing two suspects exit the stolen vehicle and flee the area. The two suspects who fled the scene are described as a white male, wearing a reflective jacket, and a white female.

Officers canvased the area, but found no further evidence that a shooting occurred. They also brought out a K-9 unit, but could not locate the two people. There was some collateral damage, however, and an investigation is ongoing.
