One Dead, Several Injuries in Grant County Bus Crash

(George, WA) -- A crash involving a bus and pickup truck kills one and injures several others in Grant County near I-90. This happened around 6:00 Friday morning, Martin Tapia Mosqueda, 65 of Othello, was driving a full size passenger bus north on Adams Road and attempted to turn west onto South Frontage Road East. Mosqueda turned into the path of a south bound pickup driven by 43-year-old Jose Guerrero Rosario of George. The collision then caused the pickup to collide with an SUV. Guerrero Rosario was pronounced dead at the scene. In addition to Tapia Mosqueda, there were 26 adult passengers riding the bus. Of those passengers, one was airlifted to a hospital. Several others were taken to local hospitals to be evaluated for non-life-threatening injuries. The passenger in the pickup was taken to a hospital by ambulance for serious injuries.
