Kennewick Police arrested a man wanted on several warrants following a short stand-off Thursday night.

Earlier this week, Kennewick Police, the Benton County Sheriff's Office, Richland Police, and other law enforcement organizations, took part in a warrant sweep as they worked to arrest 51 men and women with know gang ties, who also had outstanding warrants for their arrest.

Fifteen people were taken into custody as a result of that effort, and investigators promised to continue tracking down the remaining suspects.

Thursday night, as Kennewick Police arrived at a trailer in the Klamath Court Trailer Park, 37-year old Matthew Bunting barricaded himself inside.

SWAT was called to the scene, but officers say Bunting surrendered after about three hours.

He faces an additional charge for resisting arrest.
