RICHLAND, Wash.-- A man faces charges after leading deputies on a high speed late Monday.


According to the Benton County Sheriff's Office, a deputy tried pulling over a vehicle for a traffic stop in Benton City, but the driver refused to stop.


When blue lights flashing, the deputy followed the sedan into Richland, and Richland Police officers joined in the chase as the driver proceeded into a residential neighborhood off of Steptoe St., where he struck a travel trailer parked on the side of the road.


The male driver then ran away on foot into the housing area.


Officers from Washington State Patrol and the Kennewick Police Department helped to contain to area while Benton County Sheriff’s K9 Sable conducted a track.


Sable tracked the suspect to the home of one of the suspect's family members, where he was arrested.


The driver was identified as Kameron Hagadus, 26. Deputies say Hagadus had a suspended license and an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. He faces new charges for eluding police.
