(Cliffdell, WA) -- It's not the outcome many had hoped for, but it will bring closure to the case. Kittitas County deputies have found the body of the Settle fire chief who had missing for close to two weeks. They discovered 56-year-old Jay Shreckengost Sunday--about half a mile from where his pickup truck was previously found. The firefighter first went missing during a hunting trip back on Nov. 2nd.

It's not yet clear how Shreckengost died, but at this point, there is no evidence of foul play. Over 60 different agencies and 160 Seattle Fire Department members aided in the search effort.
