Kennewick Man Injured in Side-By-Side Rollover Accident

(Kennewick, WA) -- A 73-year-old man injured after rolling his side-by-side Sunday night. Police and Fire responded to the intersection of W Kennewick Avenue and Yelm Street after multiple people reported that a UTV had rolled over, and that a man was trapped inside. Responders removed him from the vehicle and transported him to the hospital. Further investigation determined that the Polaris RZR struck the curb and ultimately flipped onto its left side and slid for several feet before coming to a stop.

The vehicle was street legal, but showed signs of impairment and was cited for Driving Under the Influence.
