PASCO, Wash.-- A fire at a four-plex in Pasco seriously damaged one unit, and caused heat and smoke damage to other units.


Pasco Police officers were first on the scene and went to work evacuating the residences.


One officer reported that the fire was on the back porch of an end unit, and then reported a propane tank explosion that fueled the blaze and increased the flames.


The blaze caused extensive damage, but there were no reports of any injuries.


The cause of the fire is under investigation.
