Pasco firefighters say a family made it out of a home early Friday morning with only minor injuries after a fire started.

Battalion Chief Dave Hare says around 1:00 a.m. they were called to a home off of 401 W. Bonneville that was engulfed in flames. Crews were able to control the blaze about a half-hour later, but the home is destroyed.

Four fire engines, three medics and 19 firefighters from Pasco, Franklin County and Kennewick helped with the fire. The cause is under investigation.
