BENTON CITY, Wash.-- Dog owners in Benton City have until the end of January to obtain a dog license or renew their license.

A copy of a current rabies vaccination certification plus confirmation that the animal has been spayed or neutered, if applicable, are required to receive the license.

The licenses will not be issued until the proper documentation is submitted, along with the applicable registration fee.

The $30.00 licensing fee applies to each unaltered dog, $10.00 for animals who are spayed or neutered. Senior citizens can obtain or renew a license for $1.00 per year. A penalty of $10.00 will be added to each license request that is received after the deadline, which is January 29th this year.
