(Olympia, WA) -- Planning to run for office? Just a reminder that Candidate Filing Week is May 16 for people who want to run for any of the 165 offices up for election in Washington this year. Candidates must submit an application with the Office of the Secretary of State. Federal, statewide, and multi-county legislative or judicial offices must file with the Secretary of State. Other candidates should file with the county elections office in which the position resides.

Online is available only between May 16 at 9 a.m. and ends May 20 at 4 p.m. sharp. Must be submitted by 4 p.m. Pay your filing fee online with Visa, MasterCard or American Express.
