Bus Crash in Yakima County Injuries Three People

WAPATO, Wash. - Two children and a bus driver were taken to a hospital in Yakima after a semi-truck crashed into the school bus they were riding Thursday.

Yakima County sheriff's deputies and medics were called to the corner of Lateral C Road and Progressive Road in Wapato just after 3 p.m. There were nine children aboard the bus along with the bus driver when the collision happened.

Medics say that the two children taken to the hospital had injuries that appeared to be minor. Both the truck and the bus were towed from the area.
