Woman injured after being struck by car in Pasco

A woman was injured when she was struck by a car while crossing a street in Pasco Thursday night.

Police and paramedics were called out the area near the Sonic Drive-in at Road 68 and Burden Boulevard.

Officers at the scene told our news partners at KEPR Action News that the driver of a silver car tried to make a left-hand turn and didn't see a woman standing in the middle of the street in time to avoid colliding with her.

The driver is being cooperating with the investigation.
