RICHLAND, Wash.-- A Richland woman was arrested early Tuesday morning after allegedly breaking into a movie theater.

Representatives from Fairchild Queensgate 12 called 911 just after 3:30am to report that they had received a motion alarm and could see someone inside the building through surveillance cameras.

Officers from the Richland Police Department, Benton County Sheriff's Office, and Kennewick Police Department responded and surrounded the building.

The person reporting the burglary was able to remotely unlock a door for officers, and direct them to the suspect's location inside the building.

Kristina M. Diefenbach, 37, Richland, was taken into custody without incident.

A K9 was used to check to rest of the building to ensure no one else was inside.

Diefenbach was booked into the Benton County Jail on one count of second degree burglary.
