(Cowiche, WA) -- A 21 year old Cowiche man is among several who passed away at concert in Houston Friday night. Family members of Axel Acosta confirmed with media that the Western Washington University student traveled to see rapper Travis Scott at Astroworld Festival. There were an estimated 50,000 people in attendance when the large crowd surged forward at the start of the event. The rush led to the deaths of at least 8 people, and injured dozens more.

In recent years, Travis Scott has pleaded guilty to misdemeanors twice in connection with his performances. Scott--along with Live Nation, and other organizers--is facing multiple suits following the incident.
