Walla Walla Teen Killed in Crash With Semi

(Walla Walla, WA) -- A Walla Walla teen is dead following a head-on collision with a semi truck on SR 730 early Saturday morning. According to the Washington State Patrol, it happened shortly after 3:41am, just one mile from the Oregon state line.

19-year-old Desmond Swenson-Leaks was driving west along the highway when his vehicle crossed the center line and collided with a semi-trailer truck. He we pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver was uninjured.
