Kennewick Police say the Hispanic men went into Carniceria Tres Pueblos on Kennewick Avenue at about 8:30 PM, saying they needed to cash checks.

The clerk told the customers that the store was closed and they couldn't cash the checks, when one of the men went around the counter and demanded cash from the employee.

No weapons were show, but the store employee said they feared they would be assaulted if they didn't comply.

The men fled the store with an undisclosed amount of U-S currency.
