PASCO, Wash.-- Two people face charges after leading Pasco Police on a high speed chase in a stolen vehicle Friday night.

The driver led officers onto Ainsworth Ave. in east Pasco, through the Port of Pasco, and then crashed into the ditch near the intersection with Sacajawea Park Trail just after 8:00pm.

The driver and passenger fled on foot, hiding among the bushes in the nearby marsh.

A K9 and drone were called out to the area to help track down the subjects.

A man, identified as Andre Sanchez, 38, was located and taken into custody.

An officer located the female at about 11:50pm in a marsh, and initially though she was deceased. She was transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for hypothermia.

Sgt. Brad Gregory with the Pasco Police Department says they're still trying to identify the woman.

Both subjects were booked into the Franklin County Jail where they're being held for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, and could face additional charges.
