Kennewick Police say they have two men in custody in connection with Sunday morning's armed robbery at a Kennewick gas station.

Investigators say a white male wearing a Seattle Mariners baseball cap entered the convenience store at 8:45 a.m. on October 1, 2017, armed with a gun, and with his face partially covered.

The man threatened the clerk with the gun, and demanded cash. He then fled the building with some money, and investigators say he got into a mini van and drove away from the scene.

At about 9:45 a.m. Wednesday morning, dispatchers received a report of two people passed out inside a van in the Walmart parking lot off of Quillan in Kennewick. Officers arrived, and found that the van matched the description of the vehicle connected to Sunday's armed robbery.

33-year old Tyler J. DuVall and 23-year old David S. Herzog were inside the van, and were taken into custody.  A search of the vehicle recovered items connecting the men to the armed robbery. A woman in the vehicle with them was questioned, but not charged.
