PASCO, Wash.-- With smoke levels remaining at hazardous and unhealthy levels, several schools and business have once again closed or changed their operating procedures for Tuesday.

Schools

Bethlehem Lutheran School: Closed. No in-person instruction for Preschool-4th grade. Eagles Nest closed. 5th-8th grade will continue with online/distance learning.

Bickleton School District: Online learning only until further notice due to the air quality.

Calvary Christian School: Closed.

Christ the King Parish/School: Closed. All K-8 students will be learning virtually.

College Place Sch. Dist.: All onsite student programs, Lifeskills, Preschool, Learning Labs are canceled. Meal Service Grab & Go will be available. Remote online learning will continue at 9:00am.



Kennewick School District: No on-site remote learning support or on-site Tier 3 services for students at schools. Tuesday will be a remote learning day for all students. There will be no YMCA on-site child care, and no K-2 packet pick-up from bus stops. K-2 packet pick-up is now scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, assuming that the air quality is safe. There will be no bus stop meal service. Free meals will be available through drive-up service for pick up from 8 to 10 a.m. in front of the following schools:

Kingspoint Christian School: Closed. No Extended Day Program.

Pasco School District: All meal distributions and bus delivery of meals on Tuesday (9/15) have been cancelled.

Paterson Sch. Dist.: Closed. All classes will be held remotely. Students should log into their classes starting at 8:00 AM Tuesday.

Riverside Christian School: Closed.

St. Joseph's School Kennewick: Online learning for preschool and school. Children's center will be closed.

 

Employers

Hanford: Day shift:  Do not report to work Tuesday, September 15th. Essential employees needed to maintain minimum safe operations are to follow their normal work schedule. Employees who are teleworking, or have been directed to telework, should continue to do so. All Federal, contractor, sub-contractor and craft employees who do not telework or are unable to telework, unless contacted by their supervisor, should not report for work. Call the Hanford Hotline at 376-9999 for updates.
