District officials confirm a second Prosser School District employee has been put on administrative leave for controversial Facebook posts.

Librarian Peggy Brown reportedly defended a teacher on her personal Facebook who made comments about illegal residents and then posted about the immigrants day protest. School officials said in a statement due to concerns regarding safety and security of students and staff Brown was places on leave.

Last week, a Prosser Elementary teacher was put on administrative leave pending investigation of a Facebook post, which she reportedly put on her personal page urging people to call immigration agents to report suspected illegal residents.

The district said in a statement they received several angry and concerning emails, phone calls, and visits to the District office and due to possible safety concerns the teacher was put on leave.
