AUBURN, Wash.--A prominent Seattle-area Proud Boys organizer is making a new appeal to be released from custody pending his trial on terrorism charges in connection to the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol building. Court documents show 31-year-old Ethan Nordean of Auburn and 37-year-old co-defendant Joseph Biggs of Florida made the appeal in court yesterday [Monday]. Nordean and Biggs claim that new evidence and additional factors warrant their release while they await trial.

The two have both pleaded not guilty to six federal charges, including conspiracy, obstruction of an official proceeding and destruction of government property.
