(Seattle, WA) -- A prominent Proud Boys organizer is facing another charge in connection to last year's storming of the U.S. Capitol building. A federal indictment unsealed Tuesday shows 31-year-old Ethan Nordean of Auburn now faces a seventh criminal count for "assaulting, resisting impeding certain officers." Nordean is already in custody having pleaded "not guilty" to six federal charges, including conspiracy, obstruction of an official proceeding and destruction of government property regarding his alleged involvement in the January 6 event.

The 30-page indictment also lays out seven new criminal counts against former Proud Boys' national chairman Henry "Enrique" Tarrio. The indictment accuses Tarrio of creating a special chapter of the Proud Boys called the "Ministry of Self Defense" to plan the U.S. Capitol insurrection in an effort to stop Congress from certifying the 2020 presidential election results.
