(Seattle, WA) -- A Seattle man is facing nearly four years in prison after assaulting police officers at the deadly January 6th insurrection at the U.S. Capitol building. A judge sentenced 28-year-old Devlyn Thompson to 46 months in prison on Monday.


Thompson pleaded guilty to assaulting, resisting or impeding officers while using a dangerous weapon, and being part of a group that pushed against and assaulted police as protesters forced their way into the Capitol building.
