A piglet is back home after she was mistaken for a dog by a driver along the interstate south of Eugene.

Officers got a call about a dog running along the interstate but when they arrived in the area, they discovered the piglet. She is about 30 to 40 pounds in size and white with black spots. She is about 3 to 5 weeks old.

The pig was taken to animal shelter in Eugene. According to the shelter, the pig's name is Dahlia and her owner picked her up Wednesday afternoon.
