Oregon State Police Sgt. Stops Wrong Way Driver

(The Dalles, OR) -- A state trooper Sgt in The Dalles being hailed as a hero, after he made quite the sacrifice to stop a wrong way driver Friday. That sacrifice involved the Oregon State Police Sgt. crashing head on into the wrong-way motorist, in an effort to stop the suspect from getting on the 84 Freeway. This happened Friday night around 6, when authorities began getting reports of a Ford Mustang driving erratically on eastbound 84. He made it to the Dalles and got off, flipping around and trying to make it back onto the freeway, the Sgt was at the top of the off-ramp, and rammed the Mustang. The Sgt's okay
