KENNEWICK, Wash.-- A woman faces multiple drug charges after the Tri-City Metro Drug Task Force located 17 pounds of methamphetamine in her car and home earlier this week.


Investigators served a search warrant on the woman's car Wednesday, and recovered 2 lbs. of suspected methamphetamine.


Early Thursday morning, investigators served a warrant at the woman's home. That's where they located another 15 lbs. of suspected meth, along with 10 lbs. of processed marijuana, and thousands of dollars of cash.


The suspected was booked into the Franklin County Jail for suspicion of Delivery of a Controlled Substance.


The Tri-City Metro Drug Task Force is a collaborative initiative made up of law enforcement agencies throughout Benton and Franklin Counties to investigate mid-level criminal organizations linked to narcotics and illegal weapons trafficking.
