There is a new warning symbol to help deter kids from getting into marijuana edible products.

The Washington Poison Center says the large red hand with the words "Not for kids" could be required on the pot products next January.

The Washington Poison Center says the number of calls related to marijuana exposures reached a single-year high in 2015 with 272 calls. Officials hope the new label can increase education efforts and give parents an opportunity to talk with their kids.

The Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board says they will include the warning symbol on all edible products in its draft and expected to file the rules in August.
