Man recovering after hit by car in Kennewick

A man who was hit by a car while crossing a street is expected to recover from his injuries.

Kennewick Police say the accident happened at the intersection of Clearwater Avenue and Irving Street on Monday night around 10:30 p.m.

The victim was crossing Irving St. when he was hit by a vehicle making a left turn. The driver of the vehicle was ticketed for failing to yield to a pedestrian. The man was taken to Trios with non-life threatening injuries.
