If you are thinking of hitting the road this fall or winter in Oregon, you might want to plan your trip around the times when you'll see the King Tides so you'll even get more spectacular views and photos.

One of the coolest ways to see the King Tides is to book a helicopter ride. My wife and I stayed in Cannon Beach for a few days and one of the ways we saw the coast was up in the air. If you've got a little bit of extra cash, I'd highly recommend it.
