Drivers may notice some slow downs on the roads in Kennewick as crews work to repair several streets.

City officials say that starting this week through September the asphalt restoration project will be working to fill in pot holes caused by damage from a result of the harsh winter. Officials say traffic control will be in place but they ask drivers to use cation and drive slowly through the construction areas.

Starting Monday July 10th, crews will be working on Columbia Dr. from 395 to Fruitland Street. On Tuesday to Wednesday, crews will be on Canal Drive from Young Street to Volland Street. From Thursday the 13th to the next Thursday July 20th crews will be out on Kennewick Ave. from 395 to Fruitland Street.

In West Richland, crews will also be out repairing potholes and cracking on the pavement.

Officials say from the 10th to the 14th they will work on Collins Road, Paradise Way, and Ruppert Road. Drivers are ask to expect traffic delays and flaggers will be on site to reduce the work area down to one lane.

Starting Monday July 17th thru Wednesday the 19th from 7 AM to 5 PM, the contractor will be closing Grosscup Blvd between Deer Street and 62nd to thru traffic. Officials say there is a significant amount of work on this stretch of Grosscup.
