Kennewick police are investigating two separate shootings that happened Thursday.

The first happened in the 1000 block of W. 4th Avenue. Police say no one was hurt, but police did find some shell casings. Officers say multiple witnesses saw a white Honda/Nissan type car turned onto Kent from 4th and a person began firing at a man from the car. Investigators responded and conducted a search of the area.

The second shooting happened on the 4700 block of West Metaline. Officers say they found a blue Jetta Friday believed to be involved in the shooting.  Officers told Newsradio610KONA that the car had bullet holes in it. They are not releasing the location of where it was found and no one has been arrested.

The shooting happened Thursday, when officers were responded to a disturbance between two groups and witnesses said multiple rounds had been fired.

They say both groups left in two separate cars before officers arrived. At this time officers do not know if anyone was injured. Officers say in their report hospitals have been notified in case they have a walk in gunshot victim.
