Kennewick girl taken off life support after drowning

A 5-year old Kennewick girl was taken off life support Wednesday, days after being pulled from the bottom of a pool in Finley.

According to information posted by the family on a GoFundMe page, Adalynn Gaddis was swimming with friends in Finley when she was found at the bottom of the pool.

First responders spent nearly an hour working to revive the girl before transferring her to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane where she was placed in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.

Family members say doctors declared her brain dead, and she removed from life support and passed away Wednesday morning.
