First responders were called out to I-82 about 6 miles south of Kennewick for a report of a vehicle that had gone off the road and rolled several times.

The driver, a male who was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from a green 2001 Ford F150 pick-up truck.

A deputy was first on the scene and located the driver, but was not able to detect a pulse.

Paramedics arrived and performed life-saving measures, but were not able to revive the man.

Washington State Patrol identified the victim as a 43-year old male, but have not released the man's name.

According to WSP, icy conditions likely contributed to the crash.

It was one of several accidents reported Friday morning.

In another rollover crash in Benton County, a man had to be extricated from his vehicle when it rolled down an embankment along Highway 211 near Sellards Rd. near Prosser at about 6:45am.

The driver, Keegan Fennell, 34, Tigard, Oregon, was airlifted to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland with serious injuries to his head and upper body.

WSP says Fennell was not wearing a seatbelt and had to be extricated.

Sgt. John Thompson with the Benton County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to two weather-related crashes on Benton County roads, and assisted WSP with five separate incidents on state roads, including one incident involving as many as 5 vehicles that had gone off the roads.
