The Kennewick Police Department is investigating after dozens of windows were shot out at Southridge High School and homes in the surrounding area.

"We had several residential victims to include residential windows and vehicle windows," said Lt. Aaron Clem with the Kennewick Police Department. "They were shot out with a BB gun, as were 60 windows at Southridge High School."

He estimates that about twenty residential victims were targeted in the south Kennewick and Canyon Lakes area, but reports are still coming in.

Five additional windows at Southridge had been shot out during the Christmas break.

Investigators believe the bulk of the shootings took place some time between 1:00 and 3:00 a.m. Tuesday.

"We have surveillance video from residential cameras and from the school," Clem said. "We have patrol officers and School Resource Officers reviewing those videos to develop some suspect information."

Information about the number of people who may have been involved hasn't been determined, but investigators say they believe they're looking for a silver or light-colored smaller sedan.

Anyone with surveillance footage from the area is asked to contact the Kennewick Police Department by calling the non-emergency dispatch number at 509-628-0333.
