Last year, Washington's Attorney General Bob Ferguson sued the Federal Government to force the Department of Energy to improve the working conditions at Hanford.

Wednesday evening, he addressed nearly 150 current and former workers in a town hall-style meeting.

"I want them to feel like they've been heard, that we care what they have to say, we care about the experience they're going through, and that they walk away knowing that as Attorney General I've got their back and I'm going to advocate for them," Ferguson said.

Other elected officials were also on hand to hear testimony from many of the frustrated people in attendance.

According to Washington River Protection Solutions...the tank farm contractor was not invited to attend the gathering.
