Franklin Co Sheriffs have 3 persons-of-interest in Saturday murder case

Franklin County Sheriffs detectives are investigating the death of a 19-year-old man as a homicide.

Authorities were called to a home near Eltopia by the residents who reported finding a body is a storage building adjacent to their home. The Washington State Patrol Crime Response Team was then called in to assist with the investigation.

Three people have been detained on unrelated charges, but are considered persons of interest in the case.

The cause of death seems to be a gunshot wound, but Franklin Co Sheriffs confirm the coroner will be conducting an autopsy. Further details of the victim have not been released, pending notification of family.
