Former State Treasurer sets sights on State Legislature

KENNEWICK, Wash.-Former Washington State Treasurer Duane Davidson has announced he's running to be the next District 8, Position 1 Representative.

That spot recently opened up after Republican Brad Klippert announced he plans on challenging Dan Newhouse for the 4th Congressional Seat.

In a statement released today, Davidson notes his desire to run for the Legislature is the current push for increased taxes and even a new income tax, something he opposes.
