Fire destroys home in Benton County

Fire destroyed a home in Finley Thursday night.

Benton County Fire District One responded to the fire in the 18000 block of S 2189 PR SE off of East Bryson Brown Road at about 8:30pm.

When they arrived, the home was fully engulfed in flames.

Deputies with the Benton County Sheriff's Office say the residents were sleeping inside the house when the fire started, but everyone got out safely.

Early indications show that the fire may have originated at the front of the house, possibly on the porch, but the cause is still under investigation.
