Fire destroys Grandview home, garage Sunday afternoon

A fire that started in a detached garage at home in the 800 block of N. County Line Rd. in Grandview Sunday afternoon.

Fire crews were called out to the home at about 12:30pm and found a detached garage full engulfed in flames.

The fire quickly spread to the nearby residence.

According to the Benton County Sheriff's Office, no one was inside the home when the fire started.

Photos also show several animals near the home that appeared to be okay.

The Red Cross has been called out to help the residents who were displaced by the blaze.
