E. Coli Outbreak Linked To Packaged Salads In WA

(Olympia, WA) -- Washington and five other states are linked to an E. coli outbreak from packaged salads. The Washington State Department of Health says seven cases have been reported in Washington. The salads are Simple Truth Organic Power Greens bought at Fred Meyer stores with best-by dates through December 20th. Even though it's past the best-by date, officials are concerned they might still be in homes. If you have the salad, you should throw it away.
