There is always a lot of talk leading up to the two Sundays a year when we adjust our clocks for the respective time changes. In the fall we gain an hour moving the clock back (as we did this past weekend), in the spring we lose an hour moving forward.
The Washington State Department of Ecology began running it's carbon credit auction program in January of this years with the first auction taking place on February 28th. Since that first auction, the State has brought in almost $1.5 billion dollars on four auctions with two more yet to come.
Until the Federal Government decides Daylight Saving Time is no longer needed, we will continue to roll back the clocks in the Fall and forward in the Spring.
