Busted windows in Richland businesses leads to arrest

Several businesses in the Columbia Point area of Richland had glass doors and windows broken early Sunday morning.

Richland Police were called out to Hampton Inn on Bradley Blvd. for a report of a man who tossed rocks at the building, breaking the glass in a window. There were also reports that window was broken at another hotel in the area.

Officers searched the area for the man, enlisting the help of the Benton County Sheriff's Office to use a drone to search along the river banks behind the hotels.

The man was eventually located in a hotel room.

Alex Cristian Zombrano-Carrasco, 22, was arrested for suspicion of malicious mischief and booked into the Benton County Jail.
