It does not matter where you are in Washington, Seahawks fans show their support 24/7 through hats, jackets, even shoes, but the BBB says an online scammer is trying to intercept your money through a fake football gear website.

Kirstin Davis from the Better Businesses Bureau says a community member was trying to buy a jersey from a website when he tried to buy the item with Paypal. The online company told him he would have to wire the money and he then contacted the BBB.

Davis says company site says it's based in White City, Oregon but when sending a letter to the company, it was returned to sender. The phone number given is also linked to several other sports memorabilia sites. She says some good advice is to always check to make sure the website is secure, the prices are not to good to be true and to make sure your computer is up-to-date on anti-virus software.

She also mentioned although the site has a BBB logo it is not official, because a real BBB logo will link back to the BBB website and provide more information about the company.

The site information has been forwarded to the NFL and Seattle Seahawks, which would be responsible for taking the proper steps to shut the site down.
