(Moses Lake, WA) -- An 8th grader at Chief Moses Middle School was arrested Monday morning after a tip he had threatened to shoot up the campus. Officers were able to immediately find the student in class and recover a pistol as well as two magazines of ammunition for the pistol. The weapon was secured and the eighth grade student was arrested. An investigation showed the student had a list of potential targets as well. The school district has notified those on the list, and are taking steps to offer services to affected staff and students.
