SPOKANE, Wash.-- After postponing the annual road race due to concerns about COVID-19, organizers of the Bloomsday Run announced Wednesday that the 12K race is going viral this year.

In a letter to participants, Race Director Jon Neill encouraged runners and walkers to complete the 7.46 miles of the annual race from September 18-20.

Race numbers will be mailed to participants in late August and early September. Once the 12K is completed, you can enter your time on the race website, and you'll receive your finisher T-shirt in the mail.

Participants who don't want to take part in the virtual race can defer their registration to next year.

You can find more details and register on the Bloomsday website.
